Don't you wonder how do we detect the spatial properties
( direction, distance, spaciousness ... ) of sound in three-dimensional
space with only two ears? This simple question is the origin of the laboratory.
We are trying to realize the
recognition, transmission, reproduction and creation of 3-D sound space by
clarifying auditory mechanisms for spatial perception |
1) Investigation on mechanisms for sptial perception (direction, distance,
spaciousness, and so on)
2) Development of the system for recognition, transmission, reproduction
and creation of 3-D sound space
3) Buiding an authoring system for the composition of 3-D music |
